Her writing explores her interests in the magical, the macabre, and the anything-but-mundane, as well as human emotion and the complexities of psychological trauma. When not writing, she can usually be found caring for her menagerie of animals, gardening, open water swimming, hunting for mushrooms, or spending time with friends and family. Oh, and she'll never turn down tiramisu.
